Pacific Pathology Partners makes superior diagnostic and consultative services available to patients with benign and malignant disorders of the female reproduction system.

Gynecologic pathology is a subspecialty of pathology dealing with diseases of the female productive system, including the ovaries, uterus, and cervix, among other sites. Gynecologic cancers and infections produce symptoms requiring a variety of diagnotisc testing. The gynecologic pathologists at Pacific Pathology Partners work closely with gynecologic oncologists, radiologists, and other clinicians to accurately diagnose patients and plan the most effective therapy.

The medical staff at Pacific Pathology Partners includes a board-certified gynecologic pathologist who completed his residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital  and holds over 15 years of experience. Our clinical activities render histologic diagnosis on surgical specimens removed from the female genital tract. We examine specimens under a microscope and conduct tests to evaluate the presence, type, and stage of disease. We also provide direct consultation to physicians and patients related to pap smears, preventative exams, and reproductive cancer diagnoses.

Diagnosing cancers of the female reproductive tract can be challenging. Pacific Pathology Partners assists pathologists in the region and around the world on difficult cases to help them make accurate diagnoses. We provide second opinions on the full range of gynecological cancers and actively maintain a database of cervical biopsies and complex gynecological cancers for the purpose of patient instruction and education as well as for use in multidisciplinary conferences.
