Dr. Ewaskow earned her Bachelor of Arts and medical degrees from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, then completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Washington in Seattle. Dr. Ewaskow subsequently worked as a physician scientist at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, where she studied cell cycle proteins. She then served as a surgical pathology fellow at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, and as a cytopathology fellow at Indiana University. She is board certified in both Cytopathology and Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
Dr. Ewaskow has 17 years of experience as a practicing pathologist. She has been active in professional organizations, having served for two terms as president of the Washington State Society of Pathologists and for several years as the pathology representative to the Washington State Medical Association. She currently serves as medical director of a LabCorp facility in Mt. Vernon, Washington.
