Dr. Croitoru earned her medical degree with honors from the Medicine and Pharmacology University in Bucharest, Romania. She completed a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York, followed by a fellowship in Dermatopathology at New York University School of Medicine. She is board certified in Dermatopathology and Anatomic Pathology.

Dr. Croitoru has 15 years of experience as a pathologist, in both academic and private practice settings. Prior to joining Pacific Pathology Partners in 2017, Dr. Croitoru served as Assistant Professor and Associate Dermatopathology Fellowship Director at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and subsequently worked in private practice for ten years in New York and Maryland.
